The way the engine works makes the combat feel super satisfying. Or you just want to click around and see the loot drop, not really care at all what your character is about and try out random stuff every time you leave town. To me that's the main point in these games planning and building up characters. If so go for D2, Path of exile or Grim Dawn they let you customize and rerolling is somewhat of a task so you feel committed.
